AVFD's Latest Calls: 05-09-2008 #123 Stations: 111-102 At 14:31 Stations 111 and 102 were alerted to respond to the 200 blk of 6th St in Blawnox for a smell of natural gas outside. 111 had 102 head to Beckweth to check if they were cleaning and they were cleaning the tracks. 102 units were disregarded before reaching Beckweth.05-08-2008 #122 Stations: 102 At 08:36 Station 102 was alerted to respond to a Motor vehicle crash on Route 28 Northbound. Rescue 102 arrived onscene to find a minor amount of fluids leaking from a car that had smashed into the rear of a school van. In addition to containment, Rescue 102 performed a minor extrication by removing a seat to make more room in the bus to remove one patient complaining of neck and back pain. Rescue 102 used wrenches to remove the seat and helped remove victim for Foxwall EMS.05-06-2008 #121 Stations: 265-102-217 At 19:24 Stations 265,102 and 217 were alerted when responding to the water condition call(#120)on Fifteen Street to respond to the Sharpsburg Borough building for a automatic fire alarm going off. Immediately after dispatch, Squad 265 disregarded all units from the call.
